Chrono Warfare is a tower defense experience on Roblox built by BoringGames Studio. The setup: a time machine got overused, anomalies started leaking into history, and the mysterious Time Lord recruits players to seal the damage era by era. You place and upgrade towers along a path, hold off escalating waves, and clear each map on Normal, Hard, then Impossible before moving to the next time period.
It's officially billed as the successor to Evolution Evade, the tower defense game BoringGames Studio released back in 2020. Evolution Evade is no longer supported and now redirects players toward Chrono Warfare — but the studio has been clear that Evolution Evade's story isn't canon here. Chrono Warfare is a standalone world with its own towers, missions, and routes, so veteran players start fresh rather than carrying over progress.
At launch, two eras are playable: Prehistoric Times and Ancient Civilizations (Egypt and Colosseum-style maps). The game is openly labeled unfinished and under active development — expect balance patches, new eras, and UI changes as BoringGames Studio keeps building it out.
